Next Step Vets is a 501(C)3 dedicated to assisting unemployed veterans find their purpose to thrive. NXTStep Vets has a focus on 4 main pillars: Mental, Spiritual, Mentorship and Career Path. By helping veterans translate their passion and purpose into financial freedom, we help veterans thrive!
What we provide
Path to Freedom by Thriving
By ensuring we can assist veterans pair up their passions to their purpose and eventually career, entrepreneurship or Non-Profit work; we help our Veterans Thrive!!!
Veterans start with a 4-5 day retreat in Ohio, Minnesota or Alabama. During this time, Veterans feel empowered through accomplishment and build trust through comradery. Our trained staff assist our veterans in finding their purpose and passions. By finding your purpose and understanding your passions, it builds the infra-structure needed to further develop success.
After the retreat, the work really starts! This is where our team of Veteran Service Officers (VSO), Industry SME and relationships with employers help mentor and prepare our Veterans to step into a path that fits within their purpose.

By becoming a long term partner with NXTStep Vets, we will work with you to ensure you are Veteran Friendly certified. We will also ensure that veterans that are a fit within your company are presented to you.

NXTStep Vets Pillars for Success
Mental
Through a 4-5 day retreat working as a ranch hand, our veterans achieve empowerment and comradery. Led by a group of trained staff, veterans learn how to find their inner purpose to help them thrive.
Spiritual
Our staff will assist our veteran alumni in understanding the importance of a reaching out to their spiritual side and how important it is to our mental health.
Career
Success is reach when our veteran alumni have found a path that fits within their passions and purpose. Our staff will continue to work with our veteran alumni to achieve the goals set forth.
Mentorship
Veterans will thrive through a combination of Veteran Service Officers, Industry Subject Matter experts and existing partnerships with Veteran hiring foundations leading our veteran alumni through the path that fits their passion and purpose.
Not only will the team assist with the Veteran but also provide support and training to companies that are seeking to be Veteran Friendly.
